The chair of Solid-State Dynamics and Education (EduPhys) has started in August 2008 and aims for projects in the field of experimental physics as well as in the pedagogy of physics. In combination of both subjects, we are involved in the physics teacher education program (Lehrdiplom für Maturitätsschulen).
Our experimental physics research project focuses on the properties of magnets on a femto second time scale. We intend to use the technique of time and energy resolved, laser induced photo emission at free electron laser sites and in our laboratory at the ETH.
